What is a NILS?

The No Interest Loan Scheme provides interest-free loans for individuals or families on low income. 

​

Am I eligible for a NILS?

To be eligible for a NILS, you must hold either a health care card or pension card and be able to prove you are genuinely earning a low income.

 

How much can I borrow?

The amount of a NILS varies from person to person, but they generally range between $200-$1200 and the repayment period is around 12-18 months.
